WHAT AM I DOING HERE?
I'm a responsible, educated, productive pot-smoking, otherwise law-abiding mother, great and grand, to 17 nice people. I'm also an ordained minister who, as often as possible, connects with the spiritual nature of all things. I use the natural plant Cannabis to raise my quality of life. It helps me be nicer to annoying people. Aren't you glad? lol).
I would never hurt anyone on purpose, I don't take other people's stuff, and I help where I can. Why I should be labeled a criminal by my own government for doing no more than using a plant to raise my quality of life is beyond my comprehension.
I advocate for almost lost causes ie prison and drug law reform, human rights, peace: I know there are better ways to deal with the problems drugs cause than a drug war that does more damage than the banned substances. I know that prisons should be used as a last resort, not the first and I'm absolutely sure war is not the way to peace.
I deeply love my country as the Constitution laid it out. I claim the rights that God gave me and that the Constitution confirms. I am extremely disappointed that political types don't honor the citizens who elect them, the God they constantly ask to bless America, nor the founding documents of our nation.
I spend much of my time nowadays hanging with my granddaughter, Rissa. She's such a joy, she keeps me young at heart, and to her I'm simply 'Amy', her favorite toy. She's my reason for being here. I want her future to be kinder and gentler.
